Millwright – Midland, TX (2 avail roles)
Join the team at CSD Millwright & Fabrication, a trusted name in mechanical and fabrication services based in Midland, Texas. We’re currently hiring (2) skilled Millwrights to support our in-shop operations. This full-time role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery with a strong focus on safety and precision.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Be fit for duty (clean shaven, not impaired, limit fatigue)
- Work with supervisor/ managers to determine priority of jobs to be completed and execute daily
- Read, interpret blueprint drawings and schematics
- Inspect equipment as it comes in from the field
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, motors, controls, and centrifuges
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and/ or pneumatic problems with centrifuge equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on centrifuges and supporting equipment
- Maintain housekeeping in Centrifuge shop bays areas
- Manually lift pumps, valves etc.
- Use the shop crane or loader to mechanically lift steel and other building materials
- Maintain and monitor parts and consumables usage (centrifuge bearings, seals, maintenance related inventory)
- Report all hazards, near misses and incidents to your supervisor
- Inspect, use and maintain PPE assigned or given to you
- Refuse to perform any task you have not been trained to do
- Assist other divisions as required- minion, centrifuge or wellsite
- Follow company policies, procedures and practices
- Perform pre use inspections on all tools, equipment and vehicles before use
What We’re Looking For
- Proven mechanical experience (millwright or similar trade)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with tools, welding, and fabrication a plus
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Authorized to work in the U.S.

Shop Foreman / Branch Manager – Midland, TX
Join the team at CSD Millwright & Fabrication, a trusted name in mechanical and fabrication services based in Midland, Texas. We’re currently hiring a skilled Shop Foreman / Branch Manager. This full-time role involves directing all the daily operational aspects of his/ her branch, including staff and job scheduling, inventory management, and customer service. He/she will communicate effectively with management and workers, assist management with financial performance by tracking key metrics and work with safety to ensure compliance with required legislation.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Oversee all day-to-day business activities within the branch
- Be fit for duty (not impaired, limit fatigue)
- Seek appropriate applicants for branch positions
- Complete bid packages
- Maintain contact with client representatives regarding upcoming and current work
- Work with sales staff to seek new clients in their area
- Participate in weekly sales and management meetings
- Dispatch workers to site as required
- Handle worker issues, disciplinary actions and near miss/ incident reports
- Oversee mechanical services, equipment maintenance and repair

Shop Hand / Apprentice – Midland, TX

We’re currently hiring a skilled Shop Hand/Apprentice to support our in-shop operations. This full-time role will perform multiple duties to assist all divisions with labor at shop and yard locations – including loading/ unloading equipment, freight and assisting crews with servicing and maintenance of tools, equipment, shop and yard, etc – with a strong focus on safety and precision.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Maintain communication with Supervisor, Dispatch and Safety
- Complete all required documentation fully and submit within required timeframe
- Answer your phone at any time while on designated shift (on call)
- Be fit for duty (not impaired, limit fatigue)
- Use yard loader to load/ unload equipment/ materials/ freight
- Use yard loader to move equipment around yard, in and out of shop
- Use shop crane to assist in heavy lifting items
- Maintain yard and shop housekeeping via sweeping, washing, grading, snow removal etc.
- Ensure garbage and refuse bins are emptied regularly
- Report missing or damaged tools to supervisor for replacement
- Perform pre-use inspections on all tools, equipment and vehicles before use
- Report all hazards, near misses and incidents to your supervisor
- Actively participate in safety initiatives
- Inspect, use and maintain PPE assigned or given to you
